Cupid's Dart

1. Sow Indoors or Outdoors:

   - Indoors: Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost.

     - Sow seeds on the surface of moist, well-draining seed-starting mix. Do not cover them, as they require light to germinate.

     - Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 60–70°F (15–21°C). Germination typically takes 10–20 days.

   - Outdoors: Directly sow seeds outdoors after the last frost in spring or in early autumn. 

     - Scatter the seeds on prepared soil and gently press them down. Water gently and keep the soil moist until germination.

2. Sunlight and Care:

   - Cupid's Dart prefers full sun and will thrive in a sunny, well-drained location.

   - It tolerates poor soils but will perform best in light, sandy or loamy soil with good drainage.

   - Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Once established, Cupid's Dart is fairly drought-tolerant.

3. Spacing and Growth:

   - Thin seedlings to about 12–18 inches apart when they have a few sets of leaves. 

   - The plant grows 12–24 inches tall with a bushy, branching form.

4. Blooming and Harvesting:

   - Cupid's Dart blooms in summer, producing beautiful blue or purple, daisy-like flowers with white centers. The flowers can be cut for fresh or dried floral arrangements.

   - Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms and extend the flowering period.

5. General Tips:

   - Cupid's Dart is perfect for wildflower gardens, cut flower beds, or rock gardens. 

   - It attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies, making it a great addition to a pollinator-friendly garden.
