Sow Indoors: Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost. Use a well-draining seed-starting mix and scatter the seeds on the surface of the soil, as they need light to germinate. Lightly press them in but do not cover them.

Germination: Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 65–70°F (18–21°C). Germination typically occurs in 7–14 days.

Transplant: Once seedlings have at least two sets of leaves and the risk of frost has passed, harden them off and transplant them outdoors. Space plants 10–12 inches apart to allow for proper growth.

Sunlight and Care: Cosmos thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly but avoid overwatering. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming.

Cosmos bipinnatus is a popular annual known for its daisy-like flowers in shades of pink, white, and purple. It's an easy-to-grow flower that attracts pollinators and makes an excellent addition to flower beds and borders.
