Sow Outdoors: Directly sow seeds outdoors in early spring or late summer, once the risk of frost has passed. Plant seeds 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep and space them about 6 inches apart.
Germination: Keep the soil consistently moist. Germination usually takes about 7–14 days. You can cover the seeds lightly with soil to help retain moisture.
Thinning: Once the seedlings have several leaves, thin them to about 6–8 inches apart to allow space for the plants to grow.
Sunlight and Care: Coriander prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It can tolerate some light shade, especially in hotter climates. Water regularly but avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
Coriander is an annual herb known for its fresh leaves (cilantro) and seeds (used as a spice). It's commonly grown in herb gardens or containers and is great for culinary use in dishes like salsas, curries, and salads.
