Sow Indoors: Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost. Use a light, well-draining seed-starting mix. Press seeds gently onto the surface of the soil, as they need light to germinate. Do not cover the seeds.
Germination: Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 65–70°F (18–21°C). Germination can take 2–4 weeks.
Transplant: Once seedlings are large enough to handle and after the last frost has passed, harden them off and transplant them outdoors. Space plants 12–18 inches apart.
Sunlight and Care: Coral Bells prefer partial shade but can tolerate some sun. They thrive in well-drained soil and need regular watering, especially in dry conditions. Mulching around the base helps retain moisture and suppress weeds.
Coral Bells 'Palace Purple' is known for its striking purple-red foliage and delicate bell-shaped flowers. It’s an attractive perennial for borders, rock gardens, or containers and adds color throughout the growing season.
