Cloud Grass (*Eragrostis* spp.) seeds should be sown directly outdoors after the last frost or started indoors 6-8 weeks before. Lightly scatter the seeds on well-draining, sandy or loamy soil and gently press them in, as they need light to germinate. Keep the soil moist and maintain temperatures around 65-70°F (18-21°C) for optimal germination, which typically occurs in 10-14 days. Once seedlings are established and the risk of frost has passed, transplant them outdoors in a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Cloud Grass is drought-tolerant and forms airy, delicate plumes of feathery flowers, adding a soft, ornamental touch to landscapes.
