Chinese Forget-Me-Not (Cynoglossum amabile) seeds should be sown indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Lightly press the tiny seeds into well-draining soil, as they need light to germinate but should not be covered. Keep the soil moist and maintain temperatures around 65-70°F (18-21°C) for germination, which takes about 14-21 days. Once seedlings are established and the weather warms, transplant them outdoors in a partially shaded or sunny spot, spacing them 6-8 inches apart. These charming plants produce clusters of blue, pink, or white flowers and thrive in cool, moist conditions.
