Sow Indoors: Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost. Use a well-draining seed-starting mix and lightly press the seeds onto the surface, as they need light to germinate. Do not cover the seeds with soil.

Germination: Keep the soil consistently moist and maintain a temperature of 65–70°F (18–21°C). Germination usually takes 14–21 days.

Transplant: Once seedlings are large enough to handle and after the last frost, harden them off and transplant them outdoors. Space plants about 8–12 inches apart.

Sunlight and Care: Chabaud carnations prefer full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly but avoid overwatering. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further blooming.

Carnation Chabaud produces large, fragrant flowers in various shades of pink, red, and white. They are perfect for cut flower gardens, borders, and adding vibrant color to garden beds.
