Plant seeds in a sunny location with well-draining, fertile soil. Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or sow directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Plant seeds about 1/4 inch deep and keep them consistently moist. Water regularly but avoid waterlogging. Bush tomatoes prefer warm temperatures, ideally between 70°F and 85°F (21°C - 29°C), and will thrive in these conditions. Once seedlings are large enough, thin them to allow space for healthy growth, with about 12-18 inches between plants. Fertilize with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer during the growing season. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and reduce weeds. Watch for pests like aphids or whiteflies and treat as necessary. Harvest when the tomatoes are fully ripe and firm to the touch, usually 60-75 days after planting.
