To seed Bird's-foot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), select a sunny or partially shaded area with well-draining soil. Lightly scatter the seeds over the soil surface and gently press them down. Water regularly, keeping the soil moist until germination, which typically occurs within 10-21 days. This drought-tolerant, low-maintenance perennial produces clusters of bright yellow flowers and is often used in wildflower meadows, as well as for soil erosion control and nitrogen fixation.
